Sept. 22, 2010

From The Detroit News: Ten men -- including a Michigan State University football player and six former Detroit school district students -- have been accused of stealing and selling district-owned computers. Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy says she plans to charge the suspects in connection with the theft of more than 100 computers valued at more than $158,000. District Emergency Financial Manager Robert Bobb has pledged to combat continuing thefts of district property by installing more surveillance cameras and possibly carting in huge safes to protect computers from thieves.
