Ohio district considers future building plans

Mariemont system is considering four facility options
March 26, 2009

From The Cincinnati Enquirer: The Mariemont (Ohio) district is immersed in deciding whether to renovate its aging buildings, build new or do a composite that would preserve the historical facades. Four options are being considered. One option is to keep five schools with the existing configurations, but with renovations. Two options propose retiring the junior high building and renovating the others. Another option proposes retiring the junior high and Mariemont Elementary and renovating the others. Class sizes do not change in any of the options, and the same number of teachers would be required.
