Method of settling disputes was used between 2003 and 2005, records say

A high school principal and other staff members at South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas and his security staff shut feuding students in a steel cage to settle disputes with bare-knuckle fistfights, according to an internal district report. The records indicate that the fights took place between 2003 and 2005. It's not clear how many fights may have taken place. Donald Moten, who was principal at South Oak Cliff High at the time, has denied any wrongdoing. Moten resigned from the district in 2008.
