FromThe Prescott Daily Courier: Yavapai County Ariz., plans to break ground this summer on a 10,000-square-foot accommodation school. An accommodation school serves children in the court system or who otherwise cannot attend school in their home district. The Arizona School Facilities Board approved plans in March 2007 for a grade 7-12 accommodation school, but no money was available for the project. Now, the accommodation school has received a $3.6 million grant from the School Facilities Board to buy land and build the new school.
