Steve Kremer, who is in charge of residence halls at the University of Connecticut has been working nights and weekends figuring out how to squeeze the university's biggest freshman class ever into every nook and cranny on campus. When freshmen arrive later this week, they will see four students living in many study lounges, and some single rooms converted to doubles and doubles turned into triples. UConn is expecting about 300 more freshmen this fall compared to last, making the 3,500-strong class the largest in the school's history.To read The Hartford Courant article, click here.
