From The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier: Plans for a new Catholic middle school in Waterloo, Iowa, have cleared a final zoning hurdle. The city’s Board of Adjustment has approved a special permit for the Blessed Maria Assunta Pallotta Catholic Middle School to be built west of Columbus High School. Earlier this month, the Archdiocese of Dubuque approved plans to build the $6.5 million middle school to serve grades 6 to 8.
