The Grand Prairie Independent School District has placed a $222 million bond proposal on the ballot. The money would enable the district to build a career and technology center and an elementary school. It also would provide funds for equipment and technology upgrades, additions at two elementary schools, renovations and upgrades at middle and high school science labs, and creation of high school student activity centers.
