Miami school police protest cuts

District plans to eliminate more than 30 positions
May 20, 2008

Faced with job cuts and a reduced work schedule, Miami-Dade Schools police officers plan to stage a protest outside this week's board meeting. The protest comes as Miami-Dade Schools tries to cut $284 million from its budget before next school year.
