April 12, 2012

From The Seattle Times: The capital budget passed by the Washington State Legislature includes money to add a third building to the University of Washington's Bothell campus and increase capacity by 1,000 students. Lawmakers budgeted $20 million in state bond money for the $68 million building, which will provide classrooms, science labs and meeting space. The remainder of the funding of the building will come from student fees, private donors and university money. Officials say the campus has 3,400 students, but the facilities are designed to accommodates only 1,800.
