Nugent Hall on Urbana-Champaign campus aims to be user-friendly for the disabled
From The Chicago Tribune: The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign's first new residence hall in 44 years is being called the most user-friendly student housing in the country for students with severe physical disabilities. Students with the most severe disabilities will live on the first floor of Nugent Hall. About 150 other students will be on the floors above them, and that will expand to 500 when the residence hall is completed in two years. The building is connected to a new dining hall, convenience store and meeting spaces.
