District also would drop middle school grades at 3 elementary campuses
From The Baltimore Sun: Baltimore city school officials have proposed closing Southside Academy, a high school with about 274 students. In addition, they would like to drop middle school grades from three schools whose elementary school programs are nearing capacity or have struggling academic programs for middle-schoolers. The recommendations are part of the system's annual school restructuring plan.
