Dublin, Ohio, will donate land to Ohio University

Land will be used for new College of Osteopathic Medicine
April 24, 2012

From The Columbus Dispatch: City officials in Dublin, Ohio, have agreed to donate more than 70 acres for Ohio University’s new medical college campus. The city will give the university two tracts of land surrounding the property. As part of the agreement, Dublin also is pledging to pay for any road improvements necessary. Officials say Ohio University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine will open its Dublin campus with at least 50 students in fall 2014. The university is using a portion of a $105 million gift from the Osteopathic Heritage Foundations to develop what it is calling an “extension campus.”
