Budget cuts prompt Georgia to lift class-size limits

Legislature has cut education funding by $1 billion

From The Atlanta Business Chronicle: The Georgia Board of Education has voted to lift all class-size limits on the state’s public schools during the coming academic year to help offset huge budget cuts. The General Assembly has cut state funding for education by nearly $1 billion in the fiscal 2011 budget.
