Kansas district seeks money for new elementary school

Auburn-Washburn district puts $67.95 million request on ballot.

The Auburn-Washburn (Kan.) district is asking voters in November to approve a $67.95 million bond proposal. The money would enable the district to build a new elementary school and early childhood center, and make upgrades to its middle and high schools.
