System projected to save New Jersey private school $400,000 a year
From The Lawrenceville Patch: The Lawrenceville School, a private boarding school in Lawrenceville, N.J., has dedicated its new 6.1 megawatt solar farm. Officials estimate the installation will save the school $400,000 a year in energy costs—more if energy prices escalate. The nearly 25,000 solar panels, situated on about 30 acres, are expected to generate 90 percent of the school's energy needs.
