Nebraska district schedules $5.9 million bond election

Elm Creek system wants to add classroom space for grades 7 to 12

TheElm Creek (Neb.) School Board has placed a $5.9 million bond proposal on the Sept. 9 ballot. The district is seeking funds to build a secondary school. The building would add between 34,000 square feet and 36,000 square feet at the east end of the district's existing school. Much of the new classroom space would be used for grades seven through 12.
