State auditors found serious problems with facilities and curriculum
From The Beckley Register-Herald: The West Virginia Board of Education has intervened to take control of Fayette County Schools. The state's Office of Education Performance Audits found that serious curriculum and facilities problems exist in Fayette County and it would be difficult to correct deficiencies un less the state board took control of the entire school system.
