State's building condition surveys show 20% of county's school buildings are rated “unsatisfactory”
From The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle: Building condition surveys filed by local school districts with the New York State Education Department show that about 20 percent of the 272 school buildings in Monroe County are rated as being in “unsatisfactory” condition; schools in the county have an estimated $1 billion in repair and renovation needs.
