Bond issue is failing in Oakesdale (Wash.) district

$4.2 million proposal sought funds for facility renovations

From PullmanRadio.com: Voters in the Oakesdale (Wash.) school district have rejected a $4.2 million bond issue that would have paid for renovation of district facilities. The money would have enabled the district to construct additions; reconstruct the kitchen/cafeteria, classrooms and locker rooms; improve accessibility; and upgrade HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems.
