Sacramento City College's new Davis Center will be the first community college center on a University of California campus
From The Sacramento Bee: The Los Rios Community College District is set to raise its profile in Davis, Calif., with plans to open the first community college center on a University of California campus. Groundbreaking is set for this week for the first phase of Sacramento City College's new Davis Center in the UC Davis West Village development. Work is expected to be completed in time for students to begin attending classes in the 20,000-square-foot center by spring 2012.
