Mesa (Ariz.) district will seek $230 million bond proposal

Funds would enable district to renovate aging facilities

From The Arizona Republic: The Mesa (Ariz.) school district will ask voters to approve a $230 million bond this fall to finance repairs to aging schools and to purchase buses and new technology for classrooms. Officials say Mesa can no longer rely on the state's School Facilities Board to pay for repairs and upgrades to its buildings.
