3 St. Louis-area Catholic school may combine some operations

2 schools would become K-5 and the 3rd school would serve middle grades
July 26, 2011

From The St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Three Catholic schools in the St. Louis area are looking for a way to combine operations in an effort to stay open. The plan on the table calls for kindergartners through fifth-graders to attend either Our Lady of Providence in Crestwood, Mo., or St. Michael's School in Shrewsbury; middle-schoolers in grades six to eight would go to Annunciation School in Webster Groves. Such a structure would be new to St. Louis-area Catholic schools, which typically have a K-8 configuration.
