9 dead in Finland school shooting

Student kills 7 students and principal before taking his own life.

An 18-year-old gunman in Finland killed seven other students and the principal during a rampage through his high school. Investigators say the gunman, who was not identified, shot himself in the head after the shooting spree at Jokela High School in Tuusula, which is about 30 miles north of Helsinki. He died later at a hospital. Authorities suspect he revealed plans for the carnage in Internet postings.
