Michigan legislature approves funding for higher-education projects

11 universities, 12 community colleges will get capital funding

From Crain’s Detroit Business: The Michigan Legislature has passed a final capital outlay bill that will provide funding for 23 infrastructure projects at universities and community colleges. The state will fund $383 million of the nearly $1 billion in projects at 11 universities and 12 community colleges, with no one project receiving more than $30 million.
