Alexandria, Minn., wins $24.5 million bond vote

District will build elementary, buy land for high school.

The Alexandria (Minn.) district has won approval of a $24.5 million bond package. The money will enable the district to build a new elementary for grades K to 6, make major repairs to Garfield Elementary School and purchase land for a new high school.
