Study says less than half of freshmen in Boston remain in the same charter school until graduation

Teachers union contends that charters intentionally weed out underperforming students
Sept. 16, 2009

The Massachusetts Teachers Association, which conducted the study, says the exodus reinforces its longtime assertion that charter schools systematically push out academically weak students in an effort to boost their college acceptance rates and test scores.
