Appeal seeks to reinstate vouchers in Arizona

Court of Appeals ruled last month that state's 2006 voucher law is unconstitutional

State attorneys have asked the Arizona Supreme Court to strike down a lower-court decision that it is unconstitutional to give taxpayers money to parents to help pay private-school tuition for their children. In May, the Arizona Court of Appeals determined the 2006 law violated the state Constitution's ban on using public money to aid private schools.
