Anchorage voters will decide on school bond proposal

District seeks $96.4 million for facility improvements

Voters inAnchorage, Alaska, will be asked in April to approve $96.4 million in school bond projects. The proposal has two questions. The first seeks $68.9 million to renovate a high school, design a new elementary and upgrade water and sewer systems. The second seeks $27.5 million to buy land for an elementary school, and make mechanical and electrical upgrades at school facilities.
