California study says charters outperform regular public schools

Report from state charter association says charter schools improve as they age

A report to be released from the California Charter Schools Association concludes that charters generally perform better academically than nearby regular public schools, and that charters improve as they age. But some education experts question the validity of the survey, which relied heavily on test scores for comparisons.
