Judge says it’s OK for foundations to help pay Detroit district leader

From The Detroit Free Press: Foundations that help pay the salary of Detroit Public Schools emergency financial manager Robert Bobb do not harm the public good by making the contributions, a judge has ruled. The Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action; the Detroit Board of Education, and others had contended that Bobb wants to create more privatization and charter schools and that he would be compelled to advance the agenda of these foundations.
