Cahokia, Ill., charter isn't meeting state regulations

Fort Bowman Academy, a charter school in Cahokia, Ill., has about three weeks to comply with state requirements or the Cahokia School District will close the school's doors. Fort Bowman, the oldest charter school in the state outside Chicago, has received annual commendations for academic performance. But district officials say the school has been operating without state certification for more than a year,
