$20 million facility in Frederick accommodates about 75 students
From The Frederick News-Post: A new home for the Maryland School for the Deaf Elementary School has opened in Frederick. The new $20 million building houses not only the school's elementary grades but also a variety of other services, including the infant and toddlers program. About 75 elementary-age students are educated at the new schoolhouse. Many architectural aspects of the building were specially designed for a deaf population.
