Michigan State University says it will close its Dubai campus

MSU opened the campus in 2008
July 7, 2010

From The Detroit News: Michigan State University is phasing out its campus in Dubai. MSU President Lou Anna Simon says a number of factors led to the decision, including low student enrollment, millions of dollars that haven't been paid by partners, and the bad economy. The university opened the Dubai campus in August 2008 and was the first North American university to operate inside the world's only free zone dedicated to higher education.
