Abilene (Texas) district seeks funds for career technical school

Board plans for $25 million bond election in November
Aug. 2, 2009

From The Abilene Reporter-News: The Abilene (Texas) Independent School District board has voted to place a bond issue for a career high school on the Nov. 3 ballot. More than 300 people signed a letter last week asking the board to call a bond election. The board asked district staff to put together a referendum that reflected exactly what the letter requested: a single-issue bond election for $25 million to build a new stand-alone career high school in a location to be determined.
