Dallas officials say there's not enough time to revamp 2 struggling high schools for next year
From The Dallas Morning News: Dallas public school trustees are balking at several proposals to revamp two of the district's struggling high schools. They say time is too short and state demands are too extreme to pull off the changes before the start of the next school year. Spruce and Samuell high schools are in their fourth year of low performance and risk closure by the state if test scores don't drastically improve this spring.
