Ohio man sues Bexley school district over residency

He says he and his children live in the district, but they also have a home in the Columbus district
Sept. 29, 2009

From The Columbus Dispatch: The Bexley school district and the Ohio Department of Education don't believe that Mark Ebner and his children really live in a three-bedroom apartment in the district. Just a few blocks away, the real-estate developer owns a home worth more than $1 million that is in the Columbus school district. The district thinks the apartment is part of a flim-flam Ebner created to slip his kids into Bexley schools, which don't allow students from outside the district to attend. The district withdrew them from the middle and high schools just days before classes started last month. Ebner has sued the district over the residency issue.
