Vermont school system seeks funding for repairs

St. Albans wants $1.8 million to repair roof, replace heating and cooling systems.

The St. Albans, Vt., school system is seeking approval next month of a $1.8 million bond proposal. The money would enable the city to replace much of the roof in the elementary and middle school building, upgrade the heating and cooling systems, and reconfigure parking and student-dropoff areas.
