Criminal warrants issued for 5 Detroit school employees

Prosecutor says corruption in district is rampant

From The Detroit News: Criminal warrants have been issued for five Detroit Public Schools employees in connection with an ongoing investigation, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy says. Eight more employees and persons associated with employees also could face charges soon. Worthy says she is not surprised to find corruption inside the school district's administration, but is surprised at "how rampant and overt it is."
