Parents object to high school merger plans

More than 125 patrons told theEast Feliciana Parish (La.) School Board that they aren’t interested in a proposal to merge the parish’s two high schools and two middle schools. Superintendent Douglas Beauchamp has proposed combining Clinton and Jackson high schools on the Jackson campus and putting all middle school students on the Clinton High campus while closing Clinton Middle School.
