Bond proposal fails in Center Line (Mich.) district

From candgnews.com: Center Line (Mich.) Public Schools voters have turned down a $45 million bond proposal. Had it passed, the bond would have paid for a number of renovation projects and technological upgrades throughout the district, including the demolition of the Early Childhood Center to construct a new elementary school; an addition and renovations at Crothers Elementary School; the addition of six classrooms for early childhood use; the demolition of Peck, Roose and the now-closed Miller elementary schools; and the renovation of the Ellis Administration Building, including an upgraded technology infrastructure to support and facilitate district-wide technology improvements. Updates also would have been scheduled for Center Line High School and Wolfe Middle School.
