High school in Sacramento emphasizes green features

Inderkum High School is another example of the trend toward sustainable design in education facilities.

Students, teachers and officials in the Natomas (Calif.) Unified School District see the future in the new Inderkum High School's atrium and its other green features. There is momentum building worldwide for environmentally sound school designs. Increasingly, green schools are viewed as sound investments in the environment, student performance and the bottom line.
