$8.5 million project will generate 1.8 megawatts of electricity
FromThe Denver Business Journal: Denver Public Schools plans to install solar power systems at 16 schools in 2010. Fifteen of the systems will generate 100 kilowatts of power. One is larger, generating about 300 kilowatts of power. The project, worth $8.5 million, collectively will generate about 1.8 megawatts of electricity. Over 20 years the systems are expected to generate about 44 million kilowatt hours of power.
