University of New Hampshire backs off plan to ban energy drinks

Nine hours after saying sales of energy drinks would not be allowed on campus, university leaders rescind ban
Sept. 27, 2011

From The Nashua Telegraph: University of New Hampshire officials can't seem to make up their minds about energy drinks. Nine hours after the school sent out a news release announcing a campus ban on the drinks, University President Mark Huddleston backtracked and put the decision on hold. The initial directive was set to take effect in January and would have banned the sale of energy drinks in retail and vending locations on the Durham, N.H., campus.
