All school buses in Hillsborough County (Fla.) district will have cameras

District is outfitting 1,409 buses with 2 cameras each

From The Tampa Tribune: The Hillsborough County (Fla.) district is spending more than $800,000 to equip all its buses with two cameras and a digital recording system designed to capture everything that occurs on board or outside a school bus. The cameras are part of a major upgrade 1,409 school buses. The vehicles also are getting a new radio system and a global positioning system. About 92,000 of the district's 192,000 students ride the buses.
