Private high school in Chicago has found a buyer

Arrangment will enable Luther North to remain open
April 29, 2010
From The Chicago Tribune: Luther High School North, a private school on Chicago's North Side, has a buyer that will allow the debt-laden institution to remain open. The school will announce next week that it has accepted one of four offers: Chicago Hope Academy, New Life Community Church and Chicago Tabernacle Church have each proposed paying off the school's nearly $4 million debt. Uno Charter School Network is willing to buy the building, valued around $10 million. Dwindling enrollment is at the heart of the school's financial problems, In 1970, the school had 1,400 students. Today, it has about 210.
