Phoenix charter school chooses former grocery as its new home

Children First Academy has run out of space at its existing site
From The Arizona Republic: Children First Academy, a charter school in Phoenix for homeless and disadvantaged students, is moving to a larger campus. The school is spending $6 million to buy and renovate a vacant grocery. The school's campus now is in a former car dealership, but that location cannot be expanded. The academy has 333 students, up from 310 last year.
