Florida class-size mandates play havoc with student schedules

Some are forced to switch or drop classes so schools can abide by size limits

From The St. Petersburg Times: School districts in Florida will face stiff penalties starting on Oct. 15 if they exceed the current class-size limit — 25 in high schools. The looming deadline has led to a nightmare of last-minute switches, disappearing courses and calls for volunteers to change classes at a handful of crowded schools.
