Baltimore city district will close 5 middle schools

Board also revokes charter of low-performing school

FromThe Baltimore Sun: The Baltimore City school board has voted to close five middle schools: Diggs-Johnson, WestBaltimore, Doris M. Johnson, Chinquapin and Winston. It also voted to revoke the charter of a low-performing school, Dr. Rayner Browne Academy.
