New Jersey unveils plans for 52 school construction projects

Lawmakers authorized $2.9 billion in funding last month

The state of New Jersey has released details of 52 school construction projects slated to begin during the next three years. The construction and renovations include work in 30 of the 31 historically poor, mostly urban communities covered by a state Supreme Court mandate on education funding, including Burlington City, Camden, Gloucester City and Pemberton Township.
