$29 million bond request would upgrade Grand Haven (Mich.) facilities

Voters will decide in May on improvements

The Grand Haven (Mich.) Area school district is seeking a $29 million bond election next May to pay for new technology, new buses, roof replacements and energy updates — including the use of alternative energy sources, such as geothermal heating and ice-storage cooling at the high school.
